• Le Fort De Dabou

The fort was built in just ten days by Commander Faidherbe in 1853, on the northwest bank of the lagoon Ebrié, following the expedition of Rear Admiral Baudin, who commanded the squadron of the western coasts of Africa after the French’s defeat against Prussia in 1871. The remains of the fort are now a popular tourist location in the area.
