Postal Services

Due to the complexity of the city streets and its rapid development, the delivery of mail to your home can be a bit of a challenge.  The safest way to receive your mail/deliveries is to rent a postal box at one of the 33 branches of the Ivorian Post Office in Abidjan and pick up your mail at your convenience.

La Boite Postale: This is a postal box that you can rent annually at a cost of about 20 000 FCFA.

Other services from the Ivorian Post Office include:

Poste Plus: A recorded express pick-up and delivery of your mail at a specified charge for each pick up and each delivery depending on the size and weight. This is a guaranteed 24 hours service.  

Western Union/MoneyGram: The post office is also an agent of Western Union and MoneyGram, so you can send or receive money at any of their branches.
