The Africa Cup of Nations, officially CAN (French: Coupe d'Afrique des Nations), also referred to as African Cup of Nations, is the main international association football competition in Africa. It is sanctioned by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), and was first held in 1957. Since 1968, it has been held every two years.
The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is the 32nd edition and is being hosted by Egypt. The competition will be held from 21 June to 19 July 2019. AFCON 2019 is being shown live on Eurosport, you can watch it on Sky or via the Eurosport Player app.
