SODECI EMERGENCY NUMBER (water): 175

The company in charge of supplying water is Société Ivoirienne de Distribution de l’Eau en Côte D’Ivoire (SODECI).  

Water bills are paid quarterly at any of the SODECI branches, at any BIAO-CI Bank branch, or using Mobile Money services. In order to subscribe for water as a first time user, the following documents are needed:

• A form of identification such as a passport or a national identity card.
• A copy of the contract signed with SODECI.
• A signed and certified lease agreement or a sales contract.

In cases where there is transfer from one user to another using the same meter, the following documents are required:

• A form of identification such as a passport or a national identity card.
• A signed and certified lease agreement or a sales contract.
• A copy of the last bill of the departing tenant.
• A meter reading which should have been taken and agreed upon with the former tenant.
