Whether you are an adventurous shopper or a traditional one, whether you are looking for foreign brands or local ones, Abidjan has it all.  From street markets to high-end malls, you can always find what suits your mood and budget. Or, you can shop online in the quietness and comfort of your home. The large variety of products, whether for indoor or outdoor living, are readily available and you will find that local shop owners are often willing to offer a discount if you know how to bargain.

Register on their website to get your free loyalty card.
Your okoo card will give you discounts in many stores around Abidjan.

Hypermarkets and Supermarkets

There are plans to open a Carrefour Hypermarket in Abidjan in 2015 on the Boulevard Valerie Giscard d'Estaing.

This is a chain of smaller supermarkets and mini- marts that are scattered all around the city.

about 50 supermarkets targeting low or middle class people.  You can either buy in wholesale or retail.

Bakeries, Chocolates and Ice cream

If you are looking for fresh bread and croissants for a special family breakfast, cakes for your little one’s birthday party, or chocolates and ice creams to gratify your sweet tooth, there are many recommended places to visit.
