Garbage Collection

The national agency for urban environmental sanitation known as ANASUR is the government body in charge of the regulation and management of all types of waste, except for medical waste.

ANASUR is responsible for public cleaning services and cleanliness of the different districts in Abidjan. They provide training and technical assistance to local authorites and supervise garbage collection in the city.

Every district has at least a dozen local garbage collectors and you should check within your neighborhood for the local collection schedule.
